A day or two before any Team Meeting or Skype Meeting, you can usually find me scouring the Scentsy Training tab, Googling different leadership sites and searching You Tube for fresh material to share with my Scentsy peeps.
This week I happened upon a You Tube video of Wendy Robinson, a Star Director from Washington. She was speaking at Spring Sprint and although I could not stop staring at her cool boots, I was especially taken with her chill style and interesting message about how to talk to strangers about Scentsy.
Wendy's message particularly struck a chord with me this week and brought out the following thoughts:
a. I have all of my basket parties out right now - YAY!
b. I have the most loyal & consistent basket party hostesses - each hostess with a basket right now is on her 3, 4, or even 5th basket party - YAY!
c. Why the hell have I had no NEWBIE hostesses this year????? - BOO!
d. I am not introducing Scentsy to enough STRANGERS, which in turn will continually build my Scentsy business and increase my income - BOO!
Yes, I admit, I'm not the one running up to strangers to talk about Scentsy all day long. I've been in this industry for 10 years and this has always been a struggle for me. I'm an introvert, what can I say....
But Wendy's fool-proof game of "I Have a Candle Business" and 'Rules for talking to Strangers' has me re-thinking my ways.
And as of last night, Nique, Elizabeth, Jessica and I are having a little competition to see who can get the most sales from talking to strangers! We have until Sunday night..... so watch Wendy's presentation and get in on the fun with us!
